The Arctic Challenge 2009 - Extended Deadline

The Arctic Challenge Not a young person? You can still join Adventure under Sail on our Arctic Challenge from 13 – to 24th July. This is a one-off fundraising challenge voyage to Norway’s Lofoten Islands. Deadline extended until 31st March 2009.

Here is an update on the return leg of the journey. Torshavn definitley lived up to our expectations. Not only did we have showers! (which we were all badly in need of!) We also explored the town and met the locals.

Our young leaders received a message from First Minister Alex Salmond MSP
The race to work around Scotland began on Friday. For 16 hardy souls, Friday’s journey to work was to be a little different. Instead of hopping on the bus, they set off on the Big Commute – an offshore yacht race some 775 miles around the top of Scotland, from Edinburgh to Glasgow via Lerwick.
