Weekend Format

The seminar this year is a different format than we're all used to! For the Saturday, rather than needing to make the difficult decision of what courses to attend and potentially missing out... everyone will now do everything! On Sunday, you have a choice of attending RYA courses or a session on Enhanced Youthwork - How to be diverse and inclusive.

Pricing

The price for the seminar at the Westerwood Hotel covers everything from 0900 on Saturday to 1700 on Sunday - this includes your accommodation, lunches, dinner on Saturday and everything in between. However, RYA courses will come with an additional (subsidised) fee.

Full Cost

The full cost of the seminar as per the hotels fees.

1 Person (double room) Saturday evening: £180
2 People (double or twin) Saturday evening: £142.50 each (£285 total)

Our Members Price

We realise this pricing is unachievable for some and as always we will subsidise the price of the training seminar for our members.

1 Person (double room) Saturday evening: £90
2 People (double or twin) Saturday evening: £71.25 each (£142.50 total)

Friday: To book a room for the Friday evening, you need to give the hotel a call:

Single: £95, Double: £105

RYA Courses: £80 or £40 for concessionary members.
(N.B. The Marine Radio course comes with an additional fee of £70 to be paid directly to the RYA on the day).

Donate the difference: We received feedback from last years' seminar regarding the price. Some volunteers advised they would be happy to pay the full price, allowing us to put money towards others' bookings who can't afford the subsidised price. This form will allow you to donate the difference (or any amount) if you would be keen to. Any donations will allow us to use these funds towards others who may struggle to afford even the members' price and means we can claim gift aid on top!
