Last week, our young volunteer Chloe Aitken was interviewed by the BBC about her experience sailing with OYT Scotland.
“For me, sailing. It’s the joy of being out on the water, the wind hitting you in the face when you’re up on deck. It feels like you’re free. No-one can keep you in, no-one can drive you down. You’re just out there, enjoying life.”
Chloe began sailing with us through her youth group and went on to sail on our Young Leader Development Programme voyage this summer. She now gives up her time to support other young people as a volunteer bosun with OYT Scotland.
