On the 30th July Alba Explorer and Alba Venturer will begin their journey from Oban to Greenock. Both boats will be crewed by groups of individual’s, aged 12-15 on Alba Venturer and 16-19 on Alba Explorer. Friends Shaun and Bobby both from Greenock, will be part of the crew on Alba Venturer. They spoke to the Greenock Telegraph about how excited they are to set sail saying, “I am looking forward to seeing new places that I haven’t seen before and challenging myself.”
Keep an eye out for the boats when they come back to the River Clyde!
