Cruising Instructor Course
We will be running a Cruising Instructor course on 4th - 8th March from Greenock.

Pre-Voyage Preppers - Can you help?
Before young people come to sail with us, we will have at least one meeting with them to prepare them for their voyage. We need to make sure the young people know what to expect and get them ready for an adventure of a lifetime! This helps to ensure the crew on-board know what to expect and get the most out of their voyage.
The best people to run these meetings are those with experience of our voyages, someone who can answer questions about what to expect on-board and maybe even share a wee story or two!
Additionally, being based in Greenock, it's tricky for our staff to run these meetings - particularly when they're further afield.
With that in mind... we're looking to create a list of pre-voyage preppers, to try and cover the whole of the UK - so our preppers don't need to travel too far.
We will of course provide more information for how to run a pre-voyage prep and we have PowerPoints we can share with you.
If you would be willing to sign up to our list of Preppers for your area - please contact susan.soutar@oytscotland.org.uk.
Clyde Shore Group - Open Day and Boat Jumble
23rd March - James Watt Dock Marina, Greenock
Clyde Shore Group is holding an Open Day and Boat Jumble on Saturday the 23rd March 2024 at James Watt Dock Marina. They are looking for sailing/boating related items to sell at the Boat Jumble
Proceeds from the Boat Jumble will be used to subsidise voyage fees for local young people who would otherwise be unable to afford to go on a voyage.
If anyone has anything to donate which could be sold at the Boat Jumble, items can be left at the Trust’s Office or alternatively if you are not in the Greenock area but are coming to the Seminar any items can be collected from there.
If you have any questions please contact Andrew Gerrard andrew.gerrard@oytscotland.org.uk.
