As part of our ‘Change Tack with CashBack’ programme, 6 of our groups will be participating in an assortment of monthly events where young people will participate in land-based activities. This week, we had a great BBQ and Easter egg hunt with some young people from @thegkexperience. The event took place at Mugdock Park where the group had the opportunity to ask questions about their planned voyage with OYTS. The group had a fantastic time, having a ramble through the woods looking for easter eggs. We may have left one or two behind for some lucky walkers! This was a great opportunity for the group to get to know each other better and build some good relationships with the OYTS team.
This is now the 2nd activity that this group have taken part in. In December they braved the cold waters for some white water tubing at Pinkston Watersports. We’re really looking forward to some more activities that are coming soon with this terrific bunch.
