A massive thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland, made possible by players of the National Lottery, for funding our ‘Cooking up a Storm’ project, which will see two specialised ovens installed aboard our vessels! 
These ovens will not only provide much-needed sustenance to our hungry sailors, but they will also allow us to teach important life skills to the young people we bring onboard.
Cooking teaches fundamental skills in mathematics, literacy and chemistry, and the meals prepared offer everyone a chance to come together for relaxed, quality time as a group – a privilege that many of the Trust’s young people do not get to experience in daily life.
