Pilot STEM Project Sets Sail Thanks to Inverclyde Locals

On 11th September 2023, 10 young people from Clydeview Academy joined us for a pilot STEM voyage aboard Alba Venturer.  The first of its kind, this voyage was designed to take the traditional STEM subjects and approach them in a new and exciting way.  Young people embraced all aspects of the voyage, from rope and sail work to passage planning, helming and domestic duties.  Teacher, Ms Afuakwah, said: “I loved
