On 6-7 November we ran one of our Induction Weekends on Alba Venturer, introducing new volunteers to what’s involved in delivering youth work on the waves and what to expect as a member of sea staff.
The crew had some pretty severe wind to contend with but it was a huge success! Over the two days the crew enjoyed familiarising themselves with Alba Venturer and how she operated, in addition to learning about coaching skills, learning styles, mentoring, dealing with challenging behaviour and voyage outcomes.
