Well done to OYT Scotland CEO Nick Fleming who recently completed the gruelling 26.2mile Lakeland Trails Marathon in 6hours 2mins. An outstanding effort in Nick’s run up to his ultimate challenge – a 55km ultramarathon on 29 June.
The 55K Lakeland Trails Ultra is a testing 55K ultra marathon course through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Lake District. The tough, challenging course is billed as the most picturesque ultra marathon in the UK. The 55K route includes three mountain passes, with a 7,000 ft ascent/descent. Nick has been training hard, when not at sea, and we’re all rooting for him.
