We are pleased to announce that all 14 OYT Staff and Friends and of the Trust have completed the brutal 8.4k run through mud, up and down the Pentlands Hills, over obstacles, through water and over fire. Much to the team’s surprise (who were already slightly worried about conquering a 5k obstacle run), they found out on the day that the change of venue by the organisers meant an extra 3+k…
Despite this, the whole team made it safely over the finish line. Some even had a smile on their face!
We also had two youngsters take part in the Spartan Junior race on behalf of OYT Scotland – both Alex and Shaun did extremely well and even got 1st and 2nd place overall! Well done!
The OYT Support Team included our youngest 5 week old Noah and ‘Spartan To Be’!
So far the team has raised almost £1500 for the Trust – this money will go directly towards delivering adventure under sail for young people across Scotland and beyond.
