Our boats have to be in first rate order at the start of each sailing season if we’re to deliver voyages for young people of the highest quality in well fitted boats that meet stringent safety standards. Our unforgettable, life-transforming adventure under sail is only possible with committed support from our funders.
Thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, one such funder is the People’s Postcode Trust. Over the last five years, it has played a key role in supporting the winter refits for our boats. Most recently we received a grant towards the costs of repairs and refitting Alba Endeavour. As a result, 348 young people will get the chance to sail on her this season as well as some 80 volunteers from postcodes all around the country, who will benefit from the on-going training programmes taking place aboard this great boat.
